Username "admin" does NOT work. I know my password, any help appreciated

Trying to set up 2700 extender Have it almost completed until I click on the NETGEAR_EXT and it ask for a WPA2 password. I use the password on the router/modem That does not accept. 

Any suggestions 

THe solid green light that says the extender is working is not going on because I need the password

    Hi mklein3273 - Hard reset the extender and join the NETGEAR_EXT wifi network.  After you connect to it, browse to www.mywifiext.net and log in using the default credentials (Username: admin - Password: password). Then follow the setup instructions.
