Using Verizon Parental controls with my EX6100v2 extender
I have a verzon router that does not cover my entire home. but the Verizon Extendor has to be hard wired, and that is not an option, so I purchased the EX6100 Netgear extender. I got everything set up and it has been functioning flawlessly for over a year now. However, with our new "Remote Learning" option with 4 boys working from home, I needed to set up the Verizon Parental Controls. I had no problem setting them up on the My FIOS app, but what I have found is that if the device is connected to the router through the Extender, then the Parental Controls do not restrict it. Why is the router Parental controls unable to control the devices that are connected to the extender and is there a way to fix that? I really don't want to upgrade to the newst Versison router to get thier new wireless extendor.
