V6510 wifi extension

Hello Community

I have a Netgear V6510-1FXAUS from Foxtel and am struggling with range in a double story house.

I have used an ethernet over power adaptor to extend the network to the upstairs area.

My question is what do I use for the WiFi portion?

Do I use a mesh device? Does it plug directly into the LAN point upstairs?

Do I need to change / install anything at the WiFi router?

What would be the suggested mesh device?

Any assisstance would be much appreciated.
