WGR614 v6 not working ater power outage
I'm one of the millions that lost power Thursday in southern CA. To day I find out my Wireless router is no longer working. If I by pass it and go straight from the DSL modem to PC internet works fine.
I've power cycled it and reset it. With it in line and I open a explorer I get the Smart Wizard.
I get the welcome screen and says it will walk me through connecting to the internet and enabling the wireless router. I click OK
Next window says it is detecting the type of internet connection and to please wait.
Next window says Dynamic IP Detected and I click Next
Says it is updating settings and a progression bar fills up.
Once the bar fills up I get the explorer screen cannot display webpage, just like you get when you have no internet connection.
Am I missing something? Had it for about 5 or so years and this is the first problem I've had with it.

Bypassing "Netgear Smart Wizard" (This url may behave differently with all the Netgear Router)
http://192.168.0.1/basicsetting.htm
http://www.routerlogin.com/CA_HiddenPage.htm
These option may not work on some routers. If you still get "Netgear Smart Wizard", please follow the wizzard.
try bypass and try to re-load firmware and see.
after the firmware flashing, hard reset the router and see if you can correct the issues
