Hello, I have starlink, it is new to my home. My garage is 125ft from my house and I only have 1 bar, I am hoping to extend the wifi coverage to the area.
Thank You

Hello, @Casper65
Extending your Starlink WiFi coverage to your garage, which is 125ft away from your house, can be achieved through several methods. Here are a couple of solutions that could work for you:
Ethernet Connection: Run an Ethernet cable from your house to the garage and connect it to a WiFi access point in the garage. This method is reliable and can cover distances up to 300 feet with modern CAT6 cable.
Wireless Ethernet Bridge: Set up a point-to-point wireless bridge between your house and the garage. This involves two devices, one connected to your router and the other in your garage, which communicate wirelessly over long distances.
Mesh Network: Use a mesh WiFi system to extend the coverage. You can purchase a Starlink mesh network accessory or use a third-party mesh system compatible with Starlink.
WiFi Extender: Install a WiFi repeater or extender that can boost the signal to reach your garage. Place it at a location where it can receive a strong signal from your house and extend it further to the garage.
Powerline Network Adapters: These use your home’s electrical wiring to create a network connection. You plug one adapter into an outlet near your router and connect it via Ethernet, and place the other adapter in your garage, where it provides a WiFi signal or Ethernet connection.
Each method has its pros and cons, and the best choice will depend on your specific situation, such as the layout of your property and whether you’re able to run cables. If you’re not comfortable setting this up yourself, it might be worth consulting with a professional to find the most effective solution for extending your WiFi coverage to your garage.
