I'm trying to connect the product to my new home's wifi. It's previously connected to my old place and when attempting to connect to a new ISP, it asks for the password which I shouldn't need / don't have in this new place.
I've tried to reset it but it doesn't do anything.

Hi JJ249,
Please confirm that the reset was a reset to factory defaults (page 31 of 35) : http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/WN1000RP/WN1000RP_UM_20Feb2013.pdf
Which router is connected to the WN1000RP?
On the device (such as laptop) that you are using to the WN1000RP, can you please delete the Network profile and reconnect?
For example, on a windows PC, you might already have in your networks the profile to your extender. Remove this network profile and reconnect.
