WN2000RPT setup for connection between Server2008 and HyperV
I have a laptop running Server 2008 that has a Hyper V Virtual Machine connected by Remote Desktop. I have been running the setup fine on the office network. I am setting it up at my home and am using the WN200RPT Extender to catch a wireless signal and put it on a wired connection to the Laptop. This gives me a LAN that satisfies the Servers' Ethernet needs.
Here is the problem: The Router access points do not show the VM. The Remote Desktop connection fails, saying that it cannot find the VM.
The internet works fine and I have tried the hidden DHCP setup-
I am at my end, can some one help?
Danny
