WN2000RPTv2: Can't access http://www.mywifiext.net
Every time I try to access the admin console using: http://www.mywifiext.net I get redirected to the Netgear support site. I know that the range extender is working because I have an ipad and ipod getting wireless from it. I've tried accessing the page from Mac as well as PC using IE, Safari and Chrome and I always get redirected. Any help appreciated.

What if you access the extender using its IP address, i.e. 192.168.1.1? - Make sure the computer has wifi disabled.
- I am having the same issue and the above recommendation did not work. :(
- Another member said to use www.mywifiext.com (not .net) and it worked!
- First try clearing cache of the browser. Of that didn't do the job, disable IPv6 in network adapter settings. Somehow some computers send IPv6 packages by default which the extender cannot handle.
- It worked when I used www.mywifiext.com (com instead of net)
Use the default username: admin
Use default password: password - www.mywifiext.net will not open on any pc also can not find any program that will open or burn WNDR4700-V1.0.0.52.img
file format not supported. - You do NOT burn .img file
You login the router via browser!!'

Read manual of the router by downloading from support.netgear.com - well the website looks like its closed so that didn't work. the wps does not work. so whats next.. buying another product?
The router works perfectly but just can't connect to the extender.
