WN2500RP troubles
I have an apple wireless router (Airport Extreme) and it's connected to a modem fine. It's address is
IPv4: 192.168.10.139
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
router: 192.168.10.1
No problem in getting on the Internet.
I can connect to my Netgear repeater WN2500RP using DHCP with an ethernet cable attached to a Macbook Pro fine.
Using http://192.168.1.1
Once I connect to the router using ethernet, I can no longer connect wirelessly to the internet using the wireless Apple network.
I also cannot connect to the internet using the WN2500RP using the ethernet cable. Ethernet light is on on the repeater and the lights on the ethernet to USB-C adapter are steady green and flashing yellow.
When logged into the admin for the WN2500RP using the ethernet cable, it says that it's not connected to the Internet. Have no idea why or how to fix it.
What should I try in order to solve this problem?
Thanks!
Rick

Re: WN2500RP troubles
Your post wasn't very specific on what was plugged into what.
You first put that everything worked when first setup and with the extender plugged into the mac.
And then you started changing what was plugged into what.
Are you hardwiring in the extender into the router?
