WNCE2001 bricked after updating firmware v1.0.0.15_1.0.1
I updated my firware to v1.0.0.15_1.0.1 and now the router is bricked. I followed instruction in the readme and updated with cable (vice wireless).
I tried to reset and it did not flash the internet light (as the insturction noted). The WIFI light did blink a couple of time (any suggestions)?
When I connect cable to from LAN to PC, it does not assign IP. I tried manually assigning IP to 192.168.168.2 and gateway to 192.168.168.1 but no luck connecting to 192.168.168.1.
I did not see the SSID I setup or the NETGEAR15 which would have expected after a reset. I did see a hidden network and tried the default SSID and PW when asked but no luck.
Any ideas?
Any suggestion on similar device? Looks like this i no longer carried in the retailers/webshops.
Thanks in advance.

Hello ccd1006
If you believe the device is bricked you can check to see if its still under warranty and contact Netgear support.

Re: WNCE2001 bricked after updating firmware v1.0.0.15_1.0.1
I called netgear and itss out of warranty and they wanted $s to help fix. So, looks like I am going to get another one. Too bad as netgear no longer makes and I did like its functions / versatility. Thanks.....
