WNDR3700 & WNHDE111 Wireless Connection Issue

My dual band wndr3700 is not connecting wirelessly to the access pt/bridge wnhde111.

I have the wnhde111 set to auto mode on the back of the device. When I connect the ethernet cable to the back of the wnhde111 and to the port on the back of the wndr3700 router everything connects and works fine.

When I try to using the wnhde111 with a wireless connection to the wndr3700 router (meaning I unplug the ethernet cable from the back of wnhde111 and the wndr3700), I receive a message that says there is limited or no connectivity for the wnhde111 even if I place the wnhde111 next to the wndr3700.

I tried using the wps PIN setting on the router and the wnhde111 but it timed out after few minutes.

Again if I connect the wnhde111 to the wndr3700 with an ethernet cable, all works fine.

Any suggestions??

  • I followed the instructions you sent and no go. The router showed a timeout message when both devices (wndr3700 & wnhde111) were farther apart from each other (10-12 feet) and when they were very close to each other (about 3-5 ft)

Any suggestion where to go from here?
  • tell the truth on with WPS setup.

if you can try traditional repeating or use wn2000rpt/wn3000rp extender
