WPN824V3 won't work as a repeater
Hello, I am having some trouble setting up a WPN824V3 as a repeater. I bought a new modem (Asus RT-N16) which has WDS ability, so I want to use the WPN824V3 downstairs to extend my wireless range. I set the Asus router lan ip to 192.168.1.1. Then I went into the netgear router and set the lan ip as 192.168.1.2 in the lan settings and disabled DHCP. Then I went to the wireless repeating function menu. What do I enter for the repeater address, do I enter 192.168.1.2? Or am i supposed to enter an address that falls within the asus dhcp range (192.168.1.100-192.168.1.149)?
Also, I set both networks to wireless G,same channel and no security for testing purposes and no luck.
Its driving me nuts, please help!
Thank you.
