Weak Security Alert

Hi Community , I have a EX2700-100UKS 300Mbps Wi-Fi Range Extender and wifi connection giving me extended wifi to areas of home not reached by my Router 

However, I get a weak security mesage when I select the _EXT Wifi 

I connected to my Router via WPS synchronisation with my Router 

Could you advise what would be the best method to connect to my Router but be as secure as possible via the extender and overcome weak security message 

I must confess I have no IT knowledge hence reaching out to this community

    Whats giving you an insecure message? 

    When you set it up using wps, it uses the same security protocol the router is using. 

    You can always change the security protocol on the router and then reconnect the extender.
