WiFi Extender suddenly stopped working

Hi,

I have had this extender for some time now (over a year I think) and I suddenly am not getting any internet. When I connect to the network it launches the netgear log in page (mywifiext.com). So I go through that process to the page asking me to connect wirelss devices before pressing continue. When I try to do this nothing can connect and the process starts again. I have tried a factory rest and simply get to the same page again. I'm not sure what else to try?

what router are you connecting to? 

What firmware is on the extender? 

have you tried setup using a different browser like firefox? many have had luck with firefox lately. 

Also, try reinstalling the firmware to it if possible. If something was corrupt in the firmware, a factory reset doesn't overwrite the firmware.
