Re: WiFi Mesh Extender
If you're using the "One Wifi" feature, it allows devices to switch between the 2.4ghz and 5ghz as needed.
You can always disable that and choose which band to connect your devices to.
also in AP setup: RAXE500->EAX80
1.4gig download/50mbps upload from Xfinity

Re: WiFi Mesh Extender
Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the WiFi Extender products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with WiFi Extender products and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this router forum. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:

Please use this link to the main forum product list to review and choose where to make your posts.

Why does some of my devices show 5.0 ghz and others show 2.5 ghz on the mobile app? How do I connect all my devices to show 5 ghz?
Not all devices work at 5 GHz.
Just another user with a set of boilerplate macros.
