WiFi extender

If I move my extender within my house must I reconnect to WiFi or just plug it in at new location

Provided you're within range it should just connect. 

Current setup: CM2000-> RBE973S-> Trendnet TEG-S380-> GS716T-> pi-hole
also in AP setup: RAXE500->EAX80
1.4gig download/100mbps upload from Xfinity
