WiFi extenders - Having problems with passwords
Apologies for the post as I am computer illiterate!
I have a wifi extender that has worked for 6 months but now doesnt. I have done a factory reset and set up again with a different password. It shows I have wifi signal in the area but as I enter the password it rejects it. Ive tried my old passowrd too, but that doesnt work either.
Any advice?

Re: WiFi extenders - Having problems with passwords
Hello mattyP
You will want to try and use the password that your main router is using.

Re: WiFi extenders - Having problems with passwords
You may want to try and log into the extender by using its IP address or by going to www.mywifiext.net while connected to the router and try changing the password. If you still can not log in you may have to connect a pc via ethernet to access the settings.

Re: WiFi extenders - Having problems with passwords
Hello! After 2.5 wretched hours with customer service last night, I was told to update my network drivers on my Dell desktop (circa 2013). I did, but the problem I had last night still persists.
I have to run through the setup loop over and over and over, but I can never connect with any of the wifi signals in the house, even using the main router password. However, I can "port" wifi from my smartphone, and my computer is fine with picking that up. I have followed all the suggestions of the several customer service people I spoke with last night, and I really, really hoped my tedious updating tonight would help. Alas, no dice.
Can anybody help or point me in the right direction? Please? Thanks!!

Re: WiFi extenders - Having problems with passwords
Hello Jc222
are any devices able to connect to the extender? or is it just the Dell that can not?
