Wifi Booster EX2700: triggering ESET security alert when installing
Hi,
Have worked through setup using the installer. But now, ESET security is sending alert saying "network threat blocked". "A computer on the network is sending malicious traffic".
Should disable this alert and continue or stop installation? Very frustrating. I am a novice, so can not assess independently. I would appreciate your help.

Re: Wifi Booster EX2700: triggering ESET security alert when installing
Hi @Bobbie550,
Welcome to NETGEAR Community!
Thank you for reaching out. We are sorry for not being able to get back to you immediately. Are you still having this issue? For the setup, it is normal for an Anti-virus software to detect any new installation or setup on your PC. Sometimes Anti-virus may hinder the setup or installation of another program which is why most manufacturers will advise users to turn off any firewall during the setup and turn it back on once the setup is done.
Please do not hesitate to let me know if you need further assistance.
Regards,
Oliver
