I have had the EX6120 WiFi Extender since May of 2018. Since I have recieved it, the 5GHz channel has not been able to connect to the internet. I have set it up successfully and it says that the 5GHz channel is configured and working, but I cannot connect to the internet on any device. I contacted support and after hours of troubleshooting, they determined it was a defecive device and sent me another one. The new one has the exact same problem. Any help would be appreciated.
Are these devices getting IP addresses from the router? Windows will normally assign itself a 169.254.x.x address if it can't get an address from the router.
