Wifi Extender in the Access Point mode
I am using the Netgear Wifi extender model EX6150 v2 with the side switch in the Access Point position, connected to my router with an ethernet cat 6 cable.
This is extending my wifi signal to my nest cameras, however it inicates that it is an unsecured wifi signal?
Can I do something with the unit to correct that?
If I were to change the side switch position to Extender, and not use the direct cable connection, I believe it will produce a secured signal.
The difficulty is in that setup it does not send the wifi signal as far as I need.
Thanks for whatever advice you can offer.

Re: Wifi Extender in the Access Point mode
It just means that you need to log into the extender and setup its wireless security.
you can find the manual with instructions on that here:
