Wifi Extender stuck on 100mb

Hello

I am having trouble getting my gigabit speeds on my wifi extender,

I have it enabled in access point mode, connected by ethernet to a managed switch. My other devices on the switch have both lights to say it is 1GB.I have tried swapping cables, but is always same results, other devices work with all the cables, the netgear extender doesn't work with any.

(I also learned that using an unmanaged switch, will cap all devices to the slowest attached device)

Please let me know if you have any ideas/ suggestions
