Wifi Mesh Extender EX6100 extender not found
initial set up using the nightwak app. i have green lights on the extender indicating a good connection to my main router and the wireless device. when i try to connect to the extender through the nighthawk app on my mobile phone, i am unable to join netgear_EXT. i go into my phone settings and the netgear EXT does not come up. i toggle my wifi on and off and, just my wifi apppears, there is no netgearEXT coming up as a wifi network to connect to. when i click on "still having issues" it directs me to a bridge mode message, saying my router may be in bridge mode and bridge mode is not suppported, turn off bridge mode and try usin the app again. i dont know how to even access bridge mode on my router, and i am not sure that this is the issue.
how can i get the connection through the nighthawk app on my phone?
if the extended has a green light, great connection to both the router and my wireless devices, does this mean the extender is actually on and working , or do i have to get the nighthawk app working to select the devices?

Re: Wifi Mesh Extender EX6100 extender not found
Do you have version 1 or version 2?
Version 2 is a mesh extender. If you set it up using that route, it uses the same ssid as the router. So it won't "show up" using a built in wifi scanners.
try logging into the router to see if the extender is showing up in the attached device list (or whatever equivalent your router has). You can use that ip address to access the extender as well.
