Wifi range extender with wndr3700v3 and nighthawk r7000
Hi, I have my main router a r7000 that is connected to my cable modem. In that R7000 I also plugged (wired) a wndr3700v3 configured as a AP. The internet port (yellow) of the wndr3700v3 is plugged with a long ethernet cable in the port #1 of the R7000.
The AP on the wndr3700v3 was setup like this : https://kb.netgear.com/20927/How-do-I-change-my-NETGEAR-router-to-AP-mode-after-I-ve-already-run-set...
It seems to work as my desktop computer and my printer are using the ethernet ports of the wndr3700v3.
Does this configuration is acting like a wireless extender as well ?
If no, is it possible to do so ?
Also, is it possible to reaccess the wndr3700v3 AP without unplugging it from the r7000 ?
Thanks for any help !

Re: Wifi range extender with wndr3700v3 and nighthawk r7000
I answer to myself. I realized that I had a ip address conflict. I had assigned 192.168.1.2 to the AP wndr3700v3 and the R7000 was assigning also 192.168.1.2 to my Roku device. SO I was not able to reach the AP wndr3700v3. I set 192.168.1.100 for my AP and now I can access it.
I also set the same SSID and password on my AP wndr3700v3.
But what is the Wireless Repeating Function ?
