Will an EX3700 WiFi Range Extender work with my NVR?

I have an xmartO NVR with 8 cameras attached via wifi. Sometimes one of the more distant cameras disconnects. Even when it is connected it only has 1 bar strength. Will the EX3700 WiFi Range Extender placed halfway between the camera and the NVR improve the signal strength at the NVR. If so, will it be easy to set up? Obviously I don't know too much about this subject so I really need some help.
