Wndr3700v2 and cellphone-generated wifi.
I was wondering how does the above Netgear router model draw its internet source from a Wireless N 5.0 GHz Wi-Fi network generated by my cellular carrier? I can plug it into my Macintosh and program it but I have no idea what I'm doing.
I tried calling my ISP. my ISP is Visible Wireless and their tech help is actually relying on me to figure this out so they could pass it on to other customers as I am a guinea pig for getting 2 or more devices hooked to the Visible Network at once. They are primarily a cellular ISP and have no experience in this. Also I tried to get help from the toll-free number because all new models have wireless AC and wireless AX but nowhere on their models do they say it's backwards compatible with 5.0 gigahertz N Wireless.
if I could put this in repeater mode or Wireless wired bridge mode that would go a long way in helping.
I guess I could search repeater mode or Wireless to wired bridge mode on the Netgear site and get such an answer and hope that works.
I'm just posting it here now in case it doesn't so that I could get helped earlier if possible.
