Wpn824 + wn802t

I have a WPN824 router. There is no signal in some areas of the house. I intend to buy a WN802T wireless access ppoint. Do you think it will work? Do you think the signal will extend?

    Just buy extender such as wn2500rp to keep wireless security at highest

    Of not WEP or no security

    All I need is plug the accsess point to the house net? Or I need to plug it to the existing router?
