ax1800 not able to connect with modem 2.4ghz
Hi All,
I bought Ax 1800 wifi extender mesh to connect with my vendor modem.
during the setup, the extender used the same ssid but unable to connect since the modem has only 2.4ghz only.
I installed through desktop and able to create seperate ssid for 2.5 and 5. then i connect with ssid with 5 and mobile app worked fine.
did anybody come across the same situation?
regards
kumar

Two points
- "Ax 1800" is not a reliable guide to model number. Many devices come with an AX tag, but it is essentially a label that Netgear, and other brands, attach to hardware to describe wifi speeds.
- What is this vendor modem?
