can't set up wifi extender AC750 - EX3110

Hi,

I can't connect it to internet. 

 

After pushing the WPS button on the extender, I push the WPS button on the router but nothing happens. 

 

I tried to set it up via my Macbook, but I can't connect not even through the netgear installation assistant. 

Being more specific on this point: 

- I connect to the NETGEAR wifi network in the list of my wifi networks.

- but then I simply have no internet connection. I receive the message "unable to connect". 

I checked youtube tutorials and other forum to no avail. Please assist.

    wps doesn't always work the greatest.

    start by factory resetting the EX3110 to ensure the wps isn't setup. Push the factory reset for 7-15 seconds while its powered on. 

    The use the installation assistant method of install.
