credit card processing via ethernet cable
I have a small nursery located 200 feet from home. At home is my wildblue internet satellite/modem and a Rangemax Netgear router. At work I access the internet via a wireless adapter plugged into my computer.
I need to be able to run an ethernet cable to my credit card processing machine. My wireless adapter doesn't have a slot for the cable and I am told it will be easier to use another router as an access point than to tell my computer what to do to the credit card machine.
I have read a lot of the threads and while I understand a bit of this techinal stuff, I do need clear instructions.
Thanks,
Klara
