I own a extender ubicated a 3 feets of my router, is conectedd but doesnt repeat internet.
the client led is in orange (or red) (even if the device is closely). the repeater only allows me to get messenger messages, but is not even enought to charge a webpage. (in my router the internet showed is (65mb/s)
I already tried updating one time
the restoring one time (to the first firmware released)
I have reseated 3 times and didnt work
I changed the router to fast lane mode, the problem persisted.

Re: extender conected, no internet
Is this the initial setup, or did the internet connection suddenly change?
Also, why is the extender located so close to the router? Sometimes if a wifi device is too close to the router you can get significant interference.
Overall, there are some firmware issues now with the EX7000 and possibly some other mesh extenders. But those issues haven't been reported here with your extender, so I recommend that upgrade to the current firmware, do a factory reset, and set the extender up again. If you've been using WPS, then perhaps skip that step and use www.mywifiext.net instead.

Re: extender conected, no internet
I suspect it could be a hardware related problem.

Re: extender conected, no internet
Same issue here.
Worked fine for 4 months. Now will "not connect to Internet".
I have followed EVERY recommendation at Netgear online.
My router can see the extender. It shows 2 green lights on lower right front.
Will not connect to Internet.
Tech Support tried to extort money from me due to "after 90-days free warranty period." Are you kidding?
How do I get Internet connection back to this device?
Thank you.

Re: extender conected, no internet
Hi @Zack_Porter,
Welcome to the community!
1. What is the model number and firmware version of your device?
2. Are your devices able to go online when connected to the main network?
3. Does the extender show up as an attached device on your router's UI?
4. What steps have you tried?

Dexter

Re: extender conected, no internet
Hi Dexter:
1. What is the model number and firmware version of your device? EX6150v2, original from March 2018
2. Are your devices able to go online when connected to the main network? The router and my internal network can see the Extender. I can access the internet via wi-fi or wire from router without issue.
3. Does the extender show up as an attached device on your router's UI? yes
4. What steps have you tried? Reset; Using your Startup Genie; Passwords and network name are correct for 2ext and 5ext. Error: No connection to internet. The 2 front lower right LEDs are green, as is the upper right LED. The upper left LED does not light.
FWIW: there have been 2 power outtages over the last 3 weeks due to storms.
It worked fine for 6 months. Now nada. I am certain there is a just a single setting that needs to be reset. Please help.
Thanks.
