HOW DO I RE SET ONLINE WITH EXTENDER CONNECTED TO LAPTOP?

many people just push the reset button. It needs to be pushed and held while the extender is fully powered on. Its usually 7-15 seconds but the lights will change/flash once you've held it long enough. 

If this doesn't work, let me know. 

PS. the caps lock button is to the left of the "A" key.

Thanks but when I tried this it said my WiFi password was incorrect

You need to go into more details. You put that your couldn't reset the device. Then you're next response is the wifi password is wrong. 

Go into details of what you're doing, what steps you've taken, and exactly the points its failing, devices being used, etc.
