My Netgear 2700 extender green lights  continues to blink and cant get anywhere with it... It also feels warm to thetouch, what is going on... It worked great for about 3 weeks and know these problems

Hi Sbesse,

Please reset the EX2700 to factory defaults by powering on your EX2700 and pressing the Factory Reset button for at least 7 seconds. The extender will restart and will need to be re-configured.

Connect to NETGEAR_EXT then login to mywifiext.net

Verify that the firmware running on your EX2700 matches the latest firmware listed here:
