netgear ex3700 does not authenticate with t-mobile zyxel DX5401-B1 router
I want to use the EX3700 as an extender to the t-mobile zyxel DX5401-B1 router.
I installed the latest firmware V10096_1.0.62 in the EX3700.
Using the WPS procedure, the connection fails.
Configuring using WEB function (Genie) I can select the router (SSID) and enter the password. After some connection processing I receive the message that the connection can not be made.
Any suggestions.

Did you set it up using the push button WPS option?
If so, factory reset the extender and set it up using the installation assistant.
To factory reset, push and hold the reset button for 7-15 seconds while powered on.
Here's a video of how to use the assistant.

I returned the Netgear extender and bought a Zyxel model.

Fair enough. if you returned it you might mark this solved so others aren't still trying to fix it.
Good luck with your current setup
