nighthawk ac1900 modem/router c7000 and nighthawk x10 r9000-100nas
what would the best possible option to run these two devices, i'm currently using the ac1900 as a modem only (wifi off) and using the x10 for my wifi conected devices. i would like to take advantage of the ac1900 wifi capabilites but not sure if will be in conflict with the x10 if i was to turn the ac1900 wifi on. 0 knowledge of networking. thank u.

Best way to do it?
C7000 in router mode
X10 in AP mode (access point)
This prevents a double nat situation.

You then setup the wifi channels on each so they don't conflict. for the 2.4ghz, use 1-6-11. So there is plenty of room to have 2x 2.4ghz networks.
For the 5ghz, you could set one in the low 5ghz band and one in upper 5ghz range.
This will prevent wireless confiict on your networks. And if you have the option of having the x10 hardwired in at a different location in your house, you'll have better coverage and less dead spots.
