r7000 connect with ex7700 isuues
Just bought an ex7700 using as wifi extender connecting with my r7000. wifi connecting keeps dropping, r7000 working fine if just by itself. I have upgraded both devices to the lastest firmware, but no helps. Any good ideas? or can someone provide a stable firmware for ex7700 thanks

Re: r7000 connect with ex7700 isuues
There seems to be a problem with the latest firmware (.210), which can be avoided by using the .206 firmware. See:

Re: r7000 connect with ex7700 isuues
I would also try the 1.0.9.42 firmware for the R7000.
Its been known to not have the best firmware and the router is the backbone of the system. If something isn't working right with it, it'll cause issues with the extender.
also in AP setup: RAXE500->EAX80
1.4gig download/100mbps upload from Xfinity

Re: r7000 connect with ex7700 isuues
I fell back to V1.0.9.42_10.2.44 on the R7000 and .206 on the EX7700 and it FINALLY works, was getting the constant Internet drops on the EX7700.
You would think NETGEAR could get their own two products to work together.
