I signed up to Virgin's broadband today and can't get my existing extender to connect to it. I did the factory reset to remove the old router. I pressed the WPA button on the extender and then on the router. I put the extender on an expenstion lead and moved it close to the router.
Despite the above it will not connect to the router.
Any suggestions?

Hello Caribbean - You could also try setting up your extender manually. Factory reset the extender by pressing on the small black button using a pin for 15+ seconds. Let the extender reboot and join the NETGEAR_EXT wifi network with a device. After you connect to it, browse to www.mywifiext.net and follow the setup instructions.
