Hello, I have found my old netgear router. I have the user name but forgot my password to connect to the WiFi. Please help

There is a physical reset button. Push it for 8 to 10 seconds and the router will reset to factory configuration. The default username and password are usually admin and password, respectively.

No, admin is the username to log into the router's management page. The default Wi-Fi name and password may be printed on a label attached to the router. If there is no label, then you may have to connect a computer to the router with an Ethernet cable, log in and set up the Wi-Fi network.
If you have the model # of your router, then you can download instructions to set up your router from http://support.netgear.com.
