restrict access to extender model EX7700 issue
Hi.I've had this extender for about a year now with no problems. i have roomates now and i'd like to keep their devices from using my extender.in the manual it says to visit www.mywifiext.local and i can block specific devices. the problem is, i cant log in once i go to that page. it doesnt accept my netgear email or password. i even tried the factory setting "admin" "password" no luck. when i click "email, password help" it just asks me the same two security questions every time. it doesn't accept those either. any advice?

Re: restrict access to extender model EX7700 issue
Many times when people reset a device they just click reset. You have to push and hold it for 7-15 seconds while its powered on.
That should set it back to the defaults.
default login: admin
default password: password
Instead of "blocking" them, why not set the extender with a seperate ssid/password from the primary router? Then only you have access to it entirely.
