sad experience
I purchased an extender and a service contract.
I plugged in the extender and before I did anything, I lost all WiFi. My Medialink router was fried. I purchased a NETGEAR router hoping that would work and be stronger than the Medialink. I spent nine hours on the phone trying to get my router and extender working -- without success. I unplugged the extender.
Now, I have a router that is no better than the Medialink I had and a worthless service contract. How can I cancel the contract and get my money back? The extender is already on its way back and I will most likely be returning the router, as well.

Re: sad experience
You'd need to go through netgear support to see if you could get it canceled.
