security when using ex6000 as an AP
I'm trying to use an EX6000 as an access point with a BT home hub 4 as my main router. The only way I can get it to work is to turn off the security and have the new network I've created unprotected - if I add security it flips from access point mode to extender mode and loses the ethernet connection.
Is there a way around this?
thanks
Chris

Hello Chriswalter
Make sure you are using the latest firmware on the EX6000 also are you using WPA2 security.

Re: security when using ex6000 as an AP
Firmware is up to date and WPA2 security wasn't an option.
Do I need to set it to a specific IP address outside the range of the router's IP addresses?

Hello Chriswalter
You shouldn't have to do that? and WPA2 is not a option on your main router?
