want to change name of extender

i want to change the name of a netgear extender- how do i do it ..

I have seen a thread that requests me as below - but when I use this link - it warns me that it is not secure and that I must now key in passwords etc ???

Yes you need to log into the extender by going to  wwwmywfiextnet then log into the extender if it asks for a user name and password use admin/password then click wireless settings and you can change the name.
