Hi I have a 2 story home and my modem is on the lower level of the house, I am having trouble geting signal upstairs to run gaming what is the best Wifi extender I could use with ethernet port?

That's a loaded questions. 

Are you wanting THE BEST? or the best on your budget. 

They're 2 different things sadly. 

Also, its impacted by what router you have. The extender can't be faster than the router unless you plan on hardwiring it in. so its a bit pointless to buy an extender that is much more powerful than your router. 

Also, many things can block wifi. If you don't have signal because its blocked by concrete, brick, metal, etc, then upgrading isn't going to improve the signal because its still blocked. 

So what router do you have? 

How big is the home and what materials are in the way? 

Sadly, what budget do you have? The EAX80 is $250 and is the "best" extender netgear has right now for AX. I wouldn't say its the best if you don't have an AX router though.
