wifi extender will not recognize router network password
My wifi extender has been set up to my router. i can see the extension wifi in my drop down.When i click on it it asks for my router network password. when i enter this it says it is the wrong passwo...
Did you set it up via wps? if so, factory reset the extender and re-install it using the installation wizard and not wps.
Not all router makers code wps the same.
- Thanks ,I have tried so many ways Not sure I have the installation wizard. It says log in to Wi-Fi using the netgear_ex ? But I don't get that option in my Wi-Fi networks?
- My extender was actually connected to my router I checked with my supplier but I it still asked for router password?

Factory reset the extender and then follow the install guide for using the install wizard. Don't use wps.
