wifi range extension AC5300
I have managed to get my D8500 connected to BT Infinity (Thank you to those that helped there)
My next challenge is to boost the signal and get Ethernet ports in other rooms where the signal is weaker. Specifically, in the lounge, so that I can connect BT Vision box and streaming audio via Ethernet cables into a hub/range extender and also in the office, for wired connection of NAS Drives into the WiFi network
I am not able to run Ethernet cables throughout the property, therefore my requirement is to purchase 2 range extenders that have up to 4 Ethernet ports. If I do this, will my network name and passsword etc be the same and will it boost performance in those rooms? What range extender do I go for?
I have tried Powerline extenders, but they interfere with my Hi-Fi...
Many thanks

Re: wifi range extension AC5300
Yes you can do this if you use the extender in AP connect via ethernet.
