so i didnt know mesh from the EAX80 cant be used hardwired to connect to my xr1000 router, if i put the EAX80 in AP mode, can i use the same SSID as my xr1000 and turn on smart connect on both routers? or?
As far as I've been aware, the netgear line of mesh extenders don't function as a mesh system if running in AP mode. ( @Christian_R@DarrenM unless somethings changed in firmware. Is this still correct?)
You can set them with the same ssid but they tend to be sticky and not roam like a mesh system does.
