:( PTV2000 Audio via laptop?

I bought the PTV2000 to show movies on my projector. My projector is not equiped for audio so I still require to playback audio vis my laptop. Is there a patch or future functionality planned that will let me do this?

Thanks

I am in a similar boat. I am using my projector for large audiences. The tiny speakers don't even begin to cut it. How can I keep sound for my laptop so I can plug it into my sound system?

Re: :( PTV2000 Audio via laptop?

I too have the same situation and that's the reason I joined today and I am reading these posts. I have not tried installing my PTV2000 yet but I will do so tomorrow. What I plan to do is to use the AUX1 input on my Onkyo AV receiver as my projector and sound are all programmed through that. Thus my Netgear device will be hidden in the rack with all the other equipment and the computer will hopefully play all my torrents wirelessly through the projector on the big screen. I will keep you posted...

If you manage to use the laptop audio output, you will need to add considerable delay to it in order to maintain A/V sync.

Re: :( PTV2000 Audio via laptop?

some makeshifts:

You can use baofeng media player to choose the playback audio device. (it is chinese interface though) I believe you can find some equivalent english software. But the sound output is limited to baofeng media player.

I tested. It works.

the second choice is use virtual audio cable. (haven't tested it yet)
