What's unclear? The CM400 User Manual explains how to connect it to
a "Computer, router, or WiFi router" (page 8, figure 6). The DGND3700v2
User Manual shows how to connect it to a "Fiber/Cable modem" (page 20,
figure 7).

look for Documentation. Get the User Manual(s). Read. If mysteries
remain, then ask specific questions.
