DGN2200v4 max attached devices

Hi, (hope im in the right subforum) have a DGN2200v4.

Works fine except when I hit 15 attached devices (lots kids and devices), no new device can connect.

From what I've read this router should be able to handle upto 32 devices (albeit slower connections)

So what is capping it to 15 devices, ideally need about 20 spots for every device in the house connected at once.

Is there a setting I can tweak?

Firmware is uptodate except the newest which is mainly a security patch,

Many thanks 🙂

Everything is wirelessly connected to the dgn2200

As soon as about 15 devices are connected no new connection can acess the internet

I will check on what the limitations of this device are.

Hello SIGIMUS

DGN2200v4 should support at least 32 wireless clients and more so something seems to be wrong with your device if you are getting that many connections. I would suggest contacting support for a replacement unit.

Re: DGN2200v4 max attached devices

OK thanks, warranty isnt a option as its probably 2 years old now.

Ill start looking at a new unit.

Any suggestions for a unit that covers a busy household with lots of users/connections??
