N600 Dual Band Router NAT type strict on PS4 issues

I have seen a few posts about this but not much resolution. I have the N600 WiFi Dual Band Router. I am able to play sometimes with friends on my PS4, however, cannot communicate in parties via headset and get a message stating it is due to NAT restrictions. My internet is provided by my apartment complex and I only have access to the router. The women in the office stated that I needed to get in touch with the internet provider to lower my NAT restriction from a Type 3 (strict). The internet provider stated that I needed to log into my router and do it myself because it was probably on my end.
I have done most of the recommended troubleshooting to no avail. I have set the DMZ to active on the IP address of the PS4, I've done the Port Forwarding and the Port Triggering and I have also made sure the UPnP was turned on. I have restarted both console and router numorous times and have not seen any change in NAT type. Any insight would be greatly appreciated as I am about to rip my hair out of my head and various other places and make claim to the rise and coming of Cthulhu in the shadow of the dark pharaoh Nyarlathotep and the blind idiot god Azathoth. Seriously, please help.

Hi @n33tzsche,
1. Please make sure you have done DMZ and Port Forwarding separately and not simultaneously.
2. Some suggested ports to forward are:
- 80
- 443
- 465
- 983
- 3478-3480
- 3658
- 5223
- 6000-7000
- 9293
- 10070-10080
3. Also, DMZ is not recommended and is usually done for isolation.

Re: N600 Dual Band Router NAT type strict on PS4 issues
Hi @n33tzsche,
1. What is the firmware version of the router?
2. Is the router connected to a wall patch from the main apartment complex router?
3. Have you tried bypassing the router (connecting straight to the wall patch)?
4. If the issue persists without your router involved, the restriction may possibly be from the main router from the apartment complex.
