Brother 2270DW is not showing or connecting. Running Window 7 and Windows 10 on various PC's. Replaced older Netgear router where everything functioned and now does not show on R7000. Reset network settings on printer, rebooted router. No results. I have an Epson Stylus printer (wireless) which connected just fine.

Try setting security to WPA and TPIK and test on the router with the printer for a wireless connection. You'll have to re-connect the printer wirelessly to the router again. Then try WPA2 and TPIK or AES and test.
Might set the router to UP to 300Mb on 2.4Ghz and test as well.

Re: R7000 not showing or connecting to Brother Printer
Hi pstenbo,
1. Is the printer trying to connect wired or wireless to the route?
2. If wireless, can you see the wireless network?
3. If wired, will the printer get valid IP from the router?
4. Check the attached devices on the routers UI and check if you can see the printer.

Re: R7000 not showing or connecting to Brother Printer
1. I tried wireless. Out of frustration I did connect it (wired) to the router and it works fine.
2. I cannot be viewed on a wireless network.
3. See question 1, works when it's wired.
4. Checked the attached deviers on the router UI and visible when wired, not visible when wireless.
